Rigger As a Rigger I would be responsible for the safe installation and removal of concert and ballroom rigging systems after taking instructions from the head rigger. I have rigging experience in an arena or stadium as a downrigger, with an emphasis on concert rigging. I do have trouble walking the beams that is why I am a downrigger. Up and down rigger in a hotel ballroom environment. I have knowledge of theatrical rigging systems, chain motors, hardware and its proper installation of cables. I have taken apart and rebuild motors. I understanding of the work load limits of various materials including but not limited to; truss, bolts, chain, wire rope, hooks, slings. I’m able to calculate bridle lengths to properly position truss lifting points. I am more than able to transverse boom and scissor lifts. Have my own lasers for proper calculations. I have an excellent safety record.
